Her voice first entered the global stage with her debut on Sony Records in 1988, leading to collaborations with icons such as David Foster and Paul Anka.
After the 2011 earthquake reshaped her life, Johanna relocated to the U.S. and expanded her work beyond music, fusing sound, breath, and spirit through her transformative “Million Breath” practice. Her artistry now bridges the realms of performance and personal healing, crossing cultural borders and emotional landscapes.

88年、ソニーレコードからアルバム『BEATING MESS』で歌手デビュー。AOR期待のシンガーとし て、
デヴィッド・フォスター、ポール・アンカらと共演するなど注目を浴びる。
テレビ番組のホストやラジオのDJも務 め、その活動は多岐に渡る。
2002年には「グレート・マスターズ・オブ・アート」がテレビ東京『美の巨人たち』
のオー プニング・テーマに起用され、新たなファン層を獲得した。
2011年には渡米しアメリカロサンゼルスに移住。
歌手とし てはエルム街の悪夢の映画作曲家のチャールズバーンスタイン、
バットマンのクリストファーヤングをはじめ、様々な 作曲家、演奏家とのコラボレーションを続ける。
歌手、俳優としての活動のみならず、2020年に初監督、プロデュースのvideo作品を制作。
米国ではJohanna Yukiko Haneda の芸名で活動。
